Amongst 1957 and 1958, an approximated a single to four million persons around the globe died in an outbreak because of the A(H2N2) virus. The virus was a mix of a virus of avian origin, likely from geese, and a human influenza virus. The pandemic started off in Guizhou in southern China, but unfold globally.  The initial outbreak was described
